The Academic Council of Baku Slavic University at its meeting held on June 12,2004 by unanimous decision awarded the President of the Republic of Greece Constandinos Stefanopoulos the title of BSU Honorary Doctor for his service in advancing friendly relations between the Azerbaijan and Greek people, and for his contribution to consolidation and cooperation between the nations.
