An international conference will be held at BSU

     The International Scientific Conference on "Actual Problems of Azerbaijani Studies" dedicated to the 95th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev has begun in Baku Slavic University (BSU). The conference is scheduled for May 3-4.

     Speaking about the significance of this event, the head of the "Azerbaijan studies" scientific-research laboratory, PhD in law sciences S.Mammadov noted that the conference will play an important role in the study and promotion of the Great Leader's heritage: "The founder of the modern Azerbaijan state, the great leader Heydar Aliyev, and as an author of the irreversible development strategy. The most prominent political figure of our time has become the National Leader of our nation for his contribution to the strengthening of our statehood and the eternal independence of Azerbaijan in the new history of Azerbaijan with its political predilection, determination and persistence. Today's dynamic socio-economic development of Azerbaijan, further strengthening of our country's position in the world community is the result of the continued pursuit of Heydar Aliyev's rich political and social heritage. The profound study and wide propagation of Heydar Aliyev's rich political and public heritage, statehood philosophy, and Azerbaijani ideology is the ultimate wish of the whole Azerbaijani people. The wide celebration of the national leader Heydar Aliyev's birthday every year in our country stems from this wish and deep respect of our nation to the dear memory of the great leader. "

     Mammadov emphasized that during the conference the attention of many universities, scientific centers and diplomatic corpses of the world will be directed to our republic. It plays an important role in the expansion of integration and scientific-cultural relations between our countries.

     Mammadov said that the tasks that President Ilham Aliyev issued in connection with the announcement of the Year of the Republic of Azerbaijan in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Democratic Republic of Azerbaijan in 2018 would be reflected in the conference materials: "President Ilham Aliyev Republic of Turkey "is the attitude towards our national values, our history, our past and present. Today, Azerbaijan is a strong and globular state. Our independent state is the author of such global projects that the whole world acknowledges the importance of Azerbaijan. The foundation of all this is the period of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic. This decision of President Ilham Aliyev is a high value given to the People's Republic and its founders. "

     He emphasized that the National Leader is always sensitive to our history, noting that the tradition continues with dignity by the President of the country.

     It should be emphasized that invitations to higher educational institutions and scientific research centers, which will take part in the conference, have already been addressed. At the same time, Chernigov National University of Technology of Ukraine, Institute of Social and Political Sciences of the Russian Ural Federal University, Sofia University of St. Kliment Oxridski, Kiev National Linguistic University, Ukrainian Poltava University of Economics and Trade, Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maksim Tank, Moscow State Linguistic University other higher education institutions.
