An event was held within the framework of the "Young Ambassadors" program at BSU

           

     On March 2, the National Council of Youth Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ARGISM) held an event within the framework of the "Young Ambassadors" program at the Baku Slavic University.

     Speaking at the event, Vice-rector for Education, Associate Professor Ms. Sultanova informed about the ARGTM's foundation. The vice-rector noted that since 1995, the organization has been implementing various projects for 20 years to develop young people's knowledge and skills, to take decent place in the international arena and lead to democratic development. Ms. Sultanova said: "ARGTMC is a unified youth platform of Azerbaijan, which is now a confederative body that combines 124 youth organizations and thousands of young people. Global changes and challenges in the world, the integration of the Azerbaijani youth into the world and the increased representation of them at international events demanded that a special mechanism and methodology be developed for the education of young people representing our country in the international arena. Therefore, the Young Ambassadors Program plays an important role in the preparation and participation of these young people in international representation. "

     IRGC Secretary on International Relations Ilhama Gasimzade gave detailed information about the "Young Ambassadors" program. He said that the Young Ambassadors program is being implemented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Youth and Sport and the National Council of Youth Organizations since 2017. Over the course of one year, 24 young people graduated from the program, more than 20 trainings, seminars and meetings were held. Ilhamma Gasimzade said that the main goal of the program is to educate young people who will represent Azerbaijan in the international arena, to organize the exchange of young people in the international arena, to increase their experience in this field and to make their contributions to this sphere. He noted that young people selected under the Young Executives Program will be provided with relevant topics, will be involved in various practical activities and will be able to represent Azerbaijan at international events. I.Gasimzadeh noted that the application for participation in the "Young Ambassadors" program has begun.
