Project entitled “Promotion of Azerbaijani Universities” was carried out

     On June 3, exhibition entitled “Promotion of Azerbaijani Universities” was organized in the exhibition hall of Hadaf Courses, Azadlig branch with the organization of the Republic of Azerbaijan “Hadaf Courses” Limited Liability Company. The aim of project was to promote state and private universities and secondary professional schools functioning at our Republic to entrants.

     Project organizer, head of Hadaf Global, Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine Elvin Aliyev opened the event. He noted in his speech that, “At the end of each academic year entrants face certain difficulties in high school and specialty choice. The reason is that they haven’t sufficient information on high schools functioning at our country, especially newly founded specialties at those high schools. We, Hadaf Global decided to organize meeting between entrants and representatives of higher education institutions and Secondary professional schools. An invitation letter on project was sent to all high schools functioning at our Republic by the Organizing Committee. Nearly 20 higher education institutions participate in the first project entitled “Promotion of Azerbaijani Universities”.

     Project was carried out due to the financial resources of Hadaf Global. Participant higher education institutions and visitors had benefited from exhibition free of charge. It should be noted that Hadaf Global was established in the “Hadaf Companies Group” in 2016. It carries out projects and foreign relations activity of the organization.

     Director General of “Hadaf Companies Group”, Phd, associate professor Shamil Sadigov mentioned the importance of exhibition in his speech. According to him, except few international education exhibitions, promotion exhibition with the participation of all Azerbaijani Universities hasn’t held in our country yet. We can consider the project entitled “Promotion of Azerbaijani Universities” as the first in this direction. It is planned to organize the project entitled “Promotion of Azerbaijani Universities” in foreign countries in the years to come, in order Azerbaijanis living abroad and foreign students can be able to get education.

     Then winners of “Hadaf Knowledge Contest-2017” were awarded. Certificates, diplomas and money awards were presented to the winners. University representatives taking part in the exhibition also participated in the awarding ceremony.

     Baku Slavic University was represented at the exhibition. Head of the department of practice and career development of graduates of University, associate professor Yashar Alkhasov, students of Translation faculty Fatima Shirinova and Nazrin Mardanova gave detailed information about specialties at University for entrants and graduates who wish to get master’s degree and second education in front of the pavilion of BSU exhibition, answered their questions comprehensively.
