Professor-teaching staff of BSU visited Academy of the State Security Service named after Heydar Aliyev
On April 26, 2017, professor-teaching staff of University led by rector of BSU, professor Nurlana Aliyeva visited “Şöhrət” museum reflecting Nationwide Leader Heydar Aliyev’s life and activity. Museum is situated in the Academy of State Security Service named after Heydar Aliyev. Before guests got acquainted with exhibits, they placed a wreath before the monument of great personality and took memorable photos.
It should be noted that precious photos and exhibits having rich information on Heydar Aliyev's periods of age which are samples to generations are protected in the “Şöhrət” museum. The museum reflects advanced features of modern architecture.
Unique documents, archival materials in the exhibits and stands of the museum reflect information about Nationwide Leader’s life and activity, way of life, his irreplaceable role in the history and destiny of our nation, as well as a period of 25 years of his life dedicated to the work at State security bodies, operations led by him are models of his professionalism.
Valuable exhibits reflecting great personality’s rich life are conditionally divided into four stages: childhood and adolescence, period when he worked at Azerbaijan Security bodies, period when he ruled the government and was represented in the political olympus of state like USSR; period of activity as the architect of the independent Azerbaijan.
Sections where the photos of great personality’s parents and his childhood are protected can be considered as the beginning of a great way. Demonstrated exhibits prove that Nationwide Leader rose at the expense of extremely hard work and troubles. Second section covers valuable documents- various certificates, diploma certificate etc. of primary school, college, institution of higher education where great personality studied.
Documents, photos, historical objects etc. which characterize Heydar Aliyev as a skillful security officer, chief of the Security Service, public figure, politician, a person who is represented in the USSR administration, founder and architect of independent Azerbaijan are demonstrated in the next sections of the museum. One of the interesting parts of the museum is the section describing Nationwide Leader’s office. Even telephones were arranged as in the great personality’s office.
Original or copies of orders and medals, diplomas, state awards of the founder of independent Azerbaijan got in different years are demonstrated in the sections of the museum.
In other words, those who visit museum can get live impressions on Great Leader’s life and activity.
Representatives of BSU watched short film on museum after getting acquainted with it. Along with the museum staff, head of the Academy Ali Shafiyev accompanied guests. At the end of the meeting rector of BSU, professor Nurlana Aliyeva wrote her wishes to the memory book of University. It is said: “ We, professor-teaching staff of BSU had a great sense of pride by visiting unique museum dedicated to Great Leader Heydar Aliyev. A few days later 94th birthday anniversary of Great Leader will be marked. On the eve of this great history it is our sacred duty to unite more closely around our honorable president.”
