BSU administration in the National Library named after St Cyril and St Methodius

       

     On March 21, the delegation led by the rector of Baku Slavic University (BSU), professor Nurlana Aliyeva met with director of the National Library named after St Cyril and St Methodius, associate professor Krasimira Alexandrova, got closely acquainted with the library.

     Acquainting Azerbaijani guests with history of the library, numerous ancient books in Bulgarian and newly published contemporary literature, K.Alexandrova spoke about the benefits of reading. She gave detailed information about special disinfection facility used in the library for keeping ancient books available to read.

     Professor Nurlana Aliyeva spoke about the main library and the library of the Bulgarian language and Cultural Center functioning at BSU. Rector stated that demand to the books, fiction and scientific literature is high among the students learning Bulgarian at BSU. Speaking about the rule of keeping books in BSU, different kinds of books, Nurlana Aliyeva also touched upon the issue of reading problem of youth.

     At the end of the meeting which had mutual interest, director of the library presented different books in Bulgarian to Baku Slavic University on behalf of the National Library named after St Cyril and St Methodius.
