THE AZERBAIJANI LANGUAGE AND CULTURAL CENTER NAMED AFTER HEYDAR ALIYEV FUNCTIONING AT KIEV NATIONAL LINGUISTIC UNIVERSITY OF THE REPUBLIC OF UKRAINE

                                                                            

 Azerbaijani language and Culture Center after Heydar Aliyev based at Kiev National Linguistic University of the Ukrainian Republic was opened on March 29, 2013 on the eve of the 90th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev. The rector of KNLU,
PhD, Professor R.V. Vasko, BSU delegation, chairman of the Congress of the Ukrainian Azerbaijanis, representatives of the Ukrainian Azerbaijani Youth Union, the Azerbaijan State Oil Company, professors, teachers and students of KNLU, the Azerbaijani students studying at the higher education institutions of Kiev participated at the opening ceremony. The centre is equipped with computers, projector and personal laptops, and provided with a CDs information related to the Azerbaijani history and culture, documentaries and non fiction films, classical and contemporary music samples, and also with the household and decorative items. The library fund of the centre contains photo albums and books dedicated to the history and culture of Azerbaijan, literary works of the prominent writers and poets, scientific publications on linguistics and educational literature, dictionaries and reference books.
