THE CHAIR OF GENERAL AND RUSSIAN LINGUISTICS

     The chair was founded in 1946 as the Chair of Russian linquistics; it was renamed as the Chair of General linquistics. It has been the Chair of General and Russian linguistics since 1977.

     Theoretical problems of syntax.
     Theoretical problems of morphemes.
     Comparative-typological researches.
     Issues of general phraseology and phraseography.
     Issues of theory of translation.
     Issues of general paremiology.
     Anthroponimical onomastics.
