Associate Professor of the Department of Journalism of Baku Slavic University Mubariz Ahmadov met with I course students of the Baku State University (BSU) Journalism Faculty on February 27 and delivered a lecture on "Some Ethical Problems in Azerbaijani Media".

The meeting was held at the invitation of Associate Professor Sima Rahimova, Dean of Journalism Faculty of BSU, Associate Professor Vugar Aliyev and a lecturer at the Faculty of Journalism Ethics and Communication Culture.

Speaking on behalf of journalists from the Baku Slavic University, Ahmadov spoke about some of the problems of journalistic ethics existing in modern Azerbaijani media. The lecturer compares the practical aspects of the journalistic ethics with the principles and principles of the journalistic ethics, as well as the journalist's professional code of ethics, giving comparisons to the practical aspects of the electronic presentation and conveying to the attention of the students the various ethical violations.

He noted that the concept of "professional journalist" did not end with the journalist's good writing from the genre point of view, but said that the more important factor here was the fact that the journalist transmitted to the society corresponds to the norms and principles of journalistic ethics - the fact, truth, "he said.

The lecturer said that the main reason for numerous ethical violations in the Azerbaijani media, especially in online media, was that most of the people working here were not specialized journalists. In this regard, Ahmadov recommended students to pay special attention to the subject of "Journalism Ethics and Communication Culture".

Shortly before the end of the lecture, the BSU docent answered the questions of future journalists, as well as other interesting questions.

At the end, the dean of the faculty, associate professor Vugar Aliyev and the lecturer Sima Rahimova, who teaches "Journalism ethics and communication culture", expressed their gratitude to M. Ahmedova for the interesting lecture.
