THE AZERBAIJANI LANGUAGE AND CULTURAL CENTER FUNCTIONING AT MOSCOW STATE LINGUISTIC UNIVERSITY OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

     The Azerbaijani language and Culture Center functioning at Moscow State Linguistic University of Russian Federation was opened on April 15, 2009. Rector of MSLU, doctor of pedagogical sciences, academician of Russian Education Academy, professor I.I.Xaleyeva, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan Republic in Russia P.Bulbuloglu, representatives of Azerbaijani Diaspora, members of the State Duma of Russia, and deligation of BSU attended the inauguration ceremony.
         The centre is provided with the latest equipment – computer and laptops, widescreenTVs, music centre and projectors, information about the Azerbaijan history, culture and art, documentary and feature films, CDs on classical and contemporary music samples, National household and decorative items. The rich library fund of the centre consists of history and culture of Azerbaijan the books dealing with its modern life, the works of the prominent writers and poets, scientific publications and educational literature, dictionaries and reference books, periodical press samples.
